1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing the OSHA US website, registering for courses, purchasing training seats, or requesting credential verification, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use our website or services.
These terms apply to all individuals, commercial businesses, workforce coordinators, and educational institutions that interact with our digital platforms or instructional materials.
2. Independent Educational Entity Notice
Completion of training through OSHA US documents vocational education in designated safety topics. Unless specifically stated otherwise in course documentation, our certificates verify mastery of private instructional standards designed around federal regulations.
3. Educational Scope and Course Delivery
Our programs provide structured instruction in workplace hazard recognition, prevention protocols, and regulatory compliance guidelines. Training delivery may occur through virtual modules, instructor-led workshops, or corporate onsite sessions.
We reserve the right to update syllabi, adjust instructional schedules, or replace training modules to reflect current federal guidelines, consensus safety standards, or practical industry requirements.
4. Learner Responsibilities and Account Security
When enrolling in training or establishing an account, you must provide truthful, current, and complete personal information. You agree to:
- Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- Complete all quizzes, practical exercises, and examinations personally without unauthorized assistance.
- Notify our support team immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
- Refrain from reverse engineering, copying, or distributing protected examination questions.
5. Credential Issuance and Central Registry
Certificates of completion are issued solely to learners who satisfy all attendance, coursework, and examination score thresholds.
Issued credentials are registered in the centralized verification directory hosted at verify.oshaus.org. Employers, regulatory auditors, and credential holders may query this database using unique identification numbers. We reserve the right to revoke or suspend any certificate found to have been obtained through fraud, proxy test-taking, or non-payment.
6. Intellectual Property Rights
All materials available through this website, including text, lesson slides, diagrams, exam questions, branding, software code, and graphic assets, are the proprietary property of OSHA US or its licensors.
Learners receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive license to review course materials for personal educational use. You may not reproduce, resell, broadcast, or republish our materials without written authorization.
7. Fees, Refunds, and Cancellations
Course registration fees must be paid in full prior to course access or seat reservation. Group invoice terms for commercial accounts must be satisfied according to agreed contract terms, typically Net 30 days.
Refund requests for self-paced courses are honored within 7 days of purchase provided less than 20% of the coursework has been accessed. Onsite workshop cancellations made within 14 business days of scheduled delivery may incur administrative rescheduling fees.
8. Limitation of Liability and Disclaimers
While our curriculum incorporates federal safety standards, training through OSHA US does not replace an employer's independent legal obligation under the General Duty Clause (Section 5(a)(1) of the OSH Act) to maintain a workplace free from recognized hazards.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, OSHA US and its instructors shall not be liable for direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from workplace accidents, regulatory citations, or improper implementation of safety protocols.
9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these terms or platform usage shall be resolved through good-faith administrative mediation prior to formal legal proceedings.
